24/7 is the Student Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Springdale

The name twentyfour seven comes from a verse found in Jeremiah 24:7. "I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with their whole heart."

Our desire is to help students Reach for Life by worshipping, connecting, and serving. We believe “EVERY STUDENT” matters to God. We have weekly connection groups, Wednesday night ministries, camps, and retreats all designed to reach out to students and help them grow.

Each Sunday we have two connection group times for students at 8:15am and 10:55am. All Connection groups meet in the 24/7 student building. These groups are designed to connect students to one another and challenge students to grow in their faith. For more information » view Connection Groups.

wednesday overdrive

Overdrive is our Wednesday night ministry for 6th-12th grade students. Our Junior Varsity students (6th-8th grade) meet on campus at the 24-7 building every Wednesday night from 7:00pm – 8:15pm. Our Varsity students (9th-12th grade) meet in homes 3 weeks out of the month (7:00-8:15pm) and on the 4th week of the month they come back to the 24-7 building for a worship and celebration night.

The purpose of our Overdrive ministry is to reach out to students in the community and invite them to a place that they feel comfortable, to challenge them in their relationship with Christ and share the gospel with those who are lost.

Starting February 10 (4:30 pm - 6:00 pm) in the Varsity Room.

MOTION is a brand new ministry for students grade 8-12 that will use creative elements like stomp routines, step routines, rhythm, choreography, and more to do ministry.

This is like nothing you have ever seen. For more information, call the student ministry office and ask for Chuck (479-751-4523).

Shawn is the Student Pastor at 24/7. He is married to Tracey and has a son named Kyle. He was born in Oklahoma and has served as a student minister in Austin, Texas and Lakeland, Florida. He loves running, mountain biking, and weight lifting. Shawn is a graduate of the University of Arkansas. He likes to watch college football and hang out with students.

Chuck is the Associate Student Pastor at 24/7. He is married to Amy and they have a daughter named Macon. Chuck is originally from Florida but met his wife in Texas. Chuck loves to hang out with his family, loves good home cooking, and loves to be around students. He also has a $9.99 rule on clothes … if it is more than that … he doesn’t buy it.

Ashleigh is our girls associate at 24/7. She was born in Dallas, TX. Ashleigh Graduated from High School in Austin, TX. She earned a scholarship as a diver at Fresno State University in California. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in child development. She has a dog named “Walker” (not Texas Ranger). Ashleigh likes to read, hang out with students, watch movies, and Fresno State football. She will always be a “Texas Girl.”
