All-Star Sports Arena

We’re very excited about the opening of the All-Star Sports Arena located on the eastern edge of the First Baptist Church-Springdale campus. They officially opened their doors in November of 2004 and have already enjoyed a huge impact on our community and our region by providing many programs, events, and tournaments.

The 130,000 square foot facility offers multiple hardwood basketball/volleyball courts, indoor soccer/flag football fields, a dance studio, arcade, conference rooms, concession stand, a walking/running track and a health club.

The fitness center (health club) is 6,000 square feet that is equipped with strength, cardiovascular and sport training equipment, and staffed with professional on-site trainers to work with individuals, groups or teams.

Why should I create a SportsLife account?

Firstly, there’s no charge to create an account. It’s free. By creating an account you will be able to easily receive information and/or register for the SportsLife groups, programs, or activities in which you’re interested. This access will allow you a secure way to keep up with your activities and to stay in contact with those with whom you are participating. SportsLife will not divulge any of your personal information except as it relates to a coach, leader, or facilitator of your group, program or activity contacting you. This account will allow you to log-in quickly and find the information you need related to all in which you’re involved. Keeping up with your team schedule, messages from your coach, and logging your miles in your fitness programs are just a few examples of why you need to create a FREE SportsLife account.

Do I have to be a member of First Baptist Church-Springdale or the Church at Pinnacle Hills to participate in the sports programs or other activities of SportsLife?

No. You do not have to be a member of the church to participate. In fact, initial priority for participation will be given to those with no church affiliation over those with other church affiliation . We hope that during your participation or even after your participation in an activity, that will learn more about the other opportunities our church has to offer. Our intentions with our efforts do not include becoming leagues for our church or other churches only, quite the contrary.

Do I have to pay to play in the different sports leagues or participate in the various activities offered through SportsLife?

It depends. Some organized programs, tournaments, and activities may require a registration fee to cover the costs of uniforms, materials, equipment, prizes, awards, officiating, facility usage, and/or other administrative costs. Please note the specific information provided with the particular program and/or activity in which you are interested.

How do I sign-up or register for something?

In some cases, you will be able to register on-line through a submission form. In other cases, the registration procedure will be included with the information pertaining to the activity or program in which you are interested. Check this site often to view the Calendar and Opportunities pages to see when upcoming events or programs will be available for registration. Feel free to call our office at 872-3149 if you have questions.

How do I know what events or programs are available?

SportsLife advertises and promotes different events and programs through various outlets. The advertisement or promotional piece related to the activity or program in which you’re interested should include the dates and times of the activity or program. This website is the best way to stay current and retrieve information related to our programming offerings and your opportunities for involvement. Check often for updates on the Calendar and Opportunities pages.

What if I don’t see the activity offered in which I participate?

It’s our hope that we can offer something for everyone, but we know that’s not possible. Just because you don’t see your favorite activity being offered doesn’t mean that it won’t be at some point, or that it’s not possible. While we won’t make any promises about beginning programs, we’d certainly like to hear from you. The appropriate facilitator or leader is often what is needed to jump start an effort – maybe yours. Please contact us via e-mail with you interest or call 479-872-3149.

What is the relationship between First Baptist Church Springdale and the All-Star Sports Arena?

While located on property belonging to First Baptist Church-Springdale, the All-Star Sports Arena is a privately owned, commercial enterprise. The church and the Shiloh Christian School have some limited and special access to the ASSA based on the relationships between the entities, however, the All-Star Sports Arena is an independent business. We are pleased their owners are committed to Christian principles in both business and in their impact through the various sports endeavors they offer.
